We will do our best to add classes and meetings as they come in.
If you are a teacher and would like to offer a class, please fill out the form below. This year we will have 5 indoor class spaces, including Memorial Lodge, which is down by the water.

| Consent in the Arts and Sciences | While members of the arts and sciences community aim to create a positive, supportive environment, the unfortunate reality is that this is not always the case. When feedback is not properly given or received, hurt feelings can easily result. | Persona Workshop | What is an SCA persona? Why should I create one? How do I start? In this workshop, we will ask ourselves some questions about who we would like to be in the modern Middle Ages. Great for anyone starting to think about their persona or those wanting to delve deeper into their already existing persona. We will also discuss how to get into your persona more at events and play a game to get us thinking more like our personas. Let’s talk about how you can take your soothsaying to the next level and turn it into an A&S project. Examples of soothsaying in period: cardomancy, runes, ogham, dream interpretation, I Ching, tea leaves, bones, seeds. And many more. Coptic Book Binding – Liisi Murrayntytär
In this class students will learn and practice a simple, beginner-friendly stitch to create their own hand-bound hardcover book!
Stuffy Throw – Alanna of Skye
Throw foam axes and knives to win stuffed animals that you can keep!
Embroidery 101: Youth Point Edition! – Lady Dúnlaith Ingean Donnchada
Come learn the beginnings of embroidery! I will be going through up to 4 stitches for kids! This is beginning embroidery using needle and thread for the older ones but for the littles I have plastic needles and plastic canvas so no sharp bits! This class is appropriate for all ages of youth and teens.
Medieval Munchkin – Irys Tybote
Join us for a game of Munchkin; a card game that enables players ages 10+ to engage in a quick dungeons and dragons style adventure. It’s easy to play and can be completed within the morning.
Playing With Pastels – Irys Tybote
Chalk pastels are a wonderful medium to explore for any young artist. Join us for a quiet session of peaceful drawing. If interested, drawing prompts are provided for a bit of group fun. Otherwise, draw whatever inspiration brings you. Feel free to bring a sketchbook. Some paper will be provided.
Peg People – Irys Tybote
Children will get to create their own peg people– knights, princesses, dragons, farmers, scribes, and more! The fabric scraps bin is perfect for finding materials for sewing a hood, cloak, dress, tunic, or other garb for your new miniature persona. Each child will bring home their new friend complete with wardrobe, accessories, and a carrying pouch. $5 activity fee
